We were the ones that needed those umbrellas. Cara and I both got sunburned at the game, Cara much worse than me.
It was H-O-T out there--In the mid-90s at game time and very sticky. Thankfully the wind picked up and the breeze gave us some relief every now and then.

Wow! What a downpour. Over 3 inches of rain in less than 12 hours.
We were all outside for only about 30 seconds in an ill-advised attempt to go out to eat and got completely drenched. I thought it was hilarious--some other people (*cough*Sherri*cough*) didn't think it was very funny!

One of the fireworks during the 4th of July celebration in Keosauqua, Iowa.
Taken with a very slow shutter speed of 1 sec. and an aperture of F/2.5. I moved the camera around during the exposure time to create the patterned effect.

Sherri, T.J., and Kristina watching the baseball game at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa.
Ted played in the game and got an RBI double to left field and later scored on a single to right. He says that it was the highlight of his trip so far, but he did admit that he was "a little winded after running the bases."

Wow! What a surprise to see a Winton automobile cruising (albeit very slowly) down I-80 in Wyoming. I just about wet my pants when I saw it and quickly pulled over on the side of the road so that I could get my camera ready to take some pictures.

Crossing the Snake River. The picture turned out well considering that we were moving at about 80MPH and I had very little time to get the sign in the picture.
