Goodbyes

My parents took us out to breakfast before we left for Salt Lake City today. They took us out to eat so often that we probably won't have to eat for a few more days. Joe and I were both sad to leave and my parents were sad to see us go. Brandon even let me give him a big, wet kiss without "eww-ing" too much.

Even though my parents did not expect Joe to impress them, he did. Dad teased him the whole visit, which he only does to people he likes. Dad also liked having someone to drink beer with, especially since we brought him some beer from Portland. Mom gave Joe a hug before we left. She was very impressed by the fact that Joe got a picture of Brandon smiling--who wouldn't be smiling while trying to push their sister into a sprinkler? Brandon told both my Dad and I that he really liked Joe.

Joe and I have invited my parents out to Vancouver for Christmas. We hope they will be able to come and meet Joe's family.
