Little Bear

The Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen, CO is an interesting place. It is much smaller than I thought, but with a great atmosphere for live music--hanging bras from the rafters is always a nice touch. We all saw Hamilton Loomis perform there tonight after we ate. The band put on an entertaining performance and it was fun to be there, though Loomis' style of blues isn't my favorite.

Tomorrow night, Cara, Brandon (her brother), and I will be going to the Colorado Rockies game against the San Francisco Giants. It sounds like we may be going to a movie in Denver before the game.

Hi Joe and Cara-

We have enjoyed the pictures, and reading of the travels and all the places that you have stopped at along the way!

Just wanted to let you know that I'll be sending home with your Mom a framed 4-leaf clover for each, Ted and you, too. (at the time of the reunion, I didn't have enough, but now I have a new crop!)

Your Mom and Dad are planning to stop by tomorrow and stay overnight before they fly out on Friday for home. We're looking forward to seeing them!

Joe, I know Hamilton Loomis! He & his Mom & Dad had a "family band" & played in little restaurants in Houston. He was in junior high at the time.

Love the photos & comments. Great blog!
